There are plenty of Fiverr SEO gigs on the site. You will see them offering thousands of likes, followers or comments on your blogs.

They could have lots of positive feedback and people recommending them.

However, that doesn’t mean they’re good. In fact, a lot of these Fiverr SEO gigs are things to stay away from. They offer you no benefit and you need to find the real needles in the haystack of dodgy gigs.

What makes them so bad?

Fake Followers/Likes and the Use of Bots

When you see thousands of likes—often in the 10K or more—it’s a sign that you need to watch out. These are usually fake likes and followers, whether on Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, Google+ or anything else.

Nobody can guarantee that thousands of people will like or follow your page. While this may not seem like a big deal right now, it will when those numbers drop after the first couple of weeks.

Facebook, Twitter and all the other social media sites know when the profiles are fake. They’re deleted and your numbers drop quickly. You may even find yourself affected negatively for purchasing likes and followers. It’s against the sites’ TOS.

They Won’t Interact with You

There’s no point in having people who don’t interact with your posts. Even having genuine followers will do you no good if they don’t comment, like and share your posts—that’s the whole point of social media.

There is just no value in these SEO gigs on Fiverr. They offer your business no benefit. Sure, they make your page look full of people who are interested but wouldn’t you rather really have people who are interested?

It’s worth putting in the hard work to get yourself noticed and get people to like you for who you really are! They’ll then share your posts and it will improve your reach organically.

No Value for Money with Fiverr SEO Gigs

I’ve already mentioned it but it’s worth reiterating. There is no value in these SEO gigs on Fiverr. They’re a waste of $5.

You would be better spending that money on a writer to create new blog posts or someone to actually share your content on their Twitter stream. That will get you noticed by more people and increase your page rank and chance of business.

Speak to the Fiverr Sellers

When you see these gigs, make sure you do some checks. Find out whether they offer real followers and likes or whether it is all done with software. It’s a great business venture for them but not for you.

You should also find out how that will help you. I recently had someone contact me through my work email (not from Fiverr) about these types of businesses and offered to put thousands of followers on my Twitter account. I asked how that would really help get things shared. Funnily enough, I didn’t get an answer. Why? Because it won’t help at all!

Focus on quality and not quantity. Spend your money on something that is worthwhile. The Fiverr SEO gigs simply are not!
